Sputnic Threads started with a simple, arguably irresponsible idea: what if your t-shirt could make a total stranger snort-laugh in a grocery store? Turns out, people are very into that.

The Mission (Such As It Is)

We design original meme-inspired t-shirts entirely in-house. No recycled internet jokes, no clip art knockoffs, just genuinely weird, funny ideas that we sketch, obsess over, second guess, and ultimately print on soft cotton because we believe the world needs more public chuckling.

Every design goes through a rigorous quality-control process: we put it on, walk around, and see if we laugh at ourselves. If yes, it ships. If no, back to the drawing board (literally).

We're a small crew of humor obsessed humans who took the extremely practical career advice of "make people laugh for a living" and ran with it. We handle every step, concept, design, production, so that what ends up on your shirt is exactly what we intended: something genuinely original.
